Economy. Education. Reform.
Republican and Democratic candidates for governor will discuss their detailed plans on those crucial subjects at two debates now formally scheduled by the Great Debates 2010 coalition of 20 statewide interest groups.
REPUBLICAN GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE: Monday, May 24, at WGVU in Grand Rapids. Candidates Peter Hoekstra, Rick Snyder, and Tom George have confirmed their attendance. Michael Cox and Michael Bouchard are working to reconcile scheduling conflicts.
DEMOCRATIC GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE: Thursday, July 15, at WTVS in Wixom. All three candidates — Alma Wheeler-Smith, Andy Dillon, and Virg Bernero — have confirmed their attendance.
Both debates will air on public television stations statewide. The videos also will be available for on-demand viewing on at the Center for Michigan’s web site and MiVote.org.

So I take it that The Center for Michigan is only interested in hearing what only democrats and republicans have in mind for Michigan?
No outside ideas from the Libertarians, Constitution party, Greens or any independent?
Sad.
